This one is shown on an airbase in Burma.

In addition to the B-25, the Consolidated B-24 'Liberator' was a mainstay of the bombing campaign in the CBI. Most notable was its use by the 308th Bomb Group in single aircraft 'sea sweeps' against Japanese transports and warships.

The North American P-51 'Mustang' was operated by Squadrons throughout the CBI. Even
the 23rd Fighter Group, successor to the 'Flying Tigers', converted to the '51 before War's end.

The North American P-38 'Lightning' was effectively utilized in Burma and India. However
it was only used for a short time in China by the 449 Fighter Squadron ( Aug -Sep 1943.)
The Republic P-47 'Thunderbolt' was a somewhat late arrival in the CBI. However
it was succesful, and especially so with the 33rd and 81st Fighter Groups.

The Boeing B-29 'Super Fortress' operated from Chengtu, China for a short time, prior to
Twentieth Air Force being moved to Tinian Island.
